		<description>As usual from what I've discussed with others, opinions diverged and things were quite polarized. Although it sounded weird to some people, I still think there were a lot to draw in his talk (my notes here: http://liftlab.com/think/nova/2008/02/10/bruce-sterling-black-swans-and/) such as the discussion about black swans, goldilocks and unexpected events; the importance of narratives and the fact that an history like this dominates everything else (as attested by the media interest) or the demonstration of a foresight method with an example (perhaps the fact that I am french or european make it easier).

I am always fascinated by how opinions diverged even with local friends, it was either love/hate.</description>
